With their backs against the wall, the Boston Fleet take on the Ottawa Charge in Game 4 of the 2026 Walter Cup Playoffs - looking to bring the series back to Lowell for a deciding Game 5 on Tuesday. It has been a very close series: the Fleet won Game 1 by a 2-1 result, the Charge rallied back and took Game 2 by a 3-1 score, and then won Game 3 on a very fortunate bounce in the final minutes of regulation.

This to keep the season alive - should be a great game this afternoon!

The third game of the 2026 Walter Cup semifinals is tonight in the Canadian capital, as the Boston Fleet visit the Ottawa Charge. The Fleet won Game 1 by a 2-1 result last Thursday, but the Charge stormed back with a 3-1 victory on Saturday evening to push this series to what is now a best-of-three. Should be a great game here tonight!

Oiva Keskinen with the winning goal at 129.54 to level the best-of-seven series between Tappara and KooKoo at two games apiece.

It was the first game in Liiga finals history to go to quadruple overtime, and the second-longest game in Liiga all-time; the longest game was in 2015, with HIFK defeating Ilves 2-1 in 134.14.

Kevin Lankinen (57 / 58) and Joonas Korpisalo (45 / 47) were the goaltenders back then. In this game, Christian Heljanko went 57 / 59 and Eetu Randelin went 49 / 52.

Best-of-5 - Boston leads series 1-0.

The Walter Cup playoffs resume in Lowell, with the Boston Fleet looking to take a commanding lead against the Ottawa Charge and put the Canadian side on the brink of elimination. Boston won the opening game 2-1 on goals from Alina Müller and Jamie Lee Rattray - outshooting Ottawa 28-18 in the process.

This, for the opportunity to get one step closer to a second Finals appearance - should be a great game here tonight!

IT'S TIME.

The 2026 Walter Cup Playoffs begin in Lowell, as the 2. seed Boston Fleet host the 4. seed Ottawa Charge in the opening game of a best-of-five series. The Fleet qualified for the playoffs with two weeks remaining, while the Charge squeaked in past the Toronto Sceptres on the final day of the regular season.

Ottawa has won three of the four meetings between the two this season - all of which went the distance (3-2 SO, 2-1 SO, 2-3 SO, 2-1 OT). Boston outshot Ottawa in three of those games.

Should be a great game here tonight!
