Recent gain Medical Service Corp DCO 1st JO billet question

Former active enlisted motivated to start the reserve sector and get back into the adventure of it all. My NRC received a gain package and I'm awaiting the call to start checking in.

I decided for the 1st two or more years I'd like to be as active as possible for the experience, pay, adventure and nostalgia of it all, and hell maybe even stay active. My question is which units have a higher chance offering active duty orders, or are more flexible in allowing one to pick up orders?

Full disclaimer, I'm completely boot to reserve logistics and terms other than what I've put together via my recruiter, the DCO handbook and random subreddits so go easy on the acronyms lol thanks in advance for any help and take care out there

I’m waiting to be gained at my NRC. During the wait I’m realizing I would prefer to deploy or go on active orders for at lease the 1st year after ODS. Overseas would be great.

I’m wondering if there is anyone that has experience in the medical corp, perhaps as a Med Tech, or in general that can recommend units that typically want operational support, support active orders, definite recall, or is open to one picking up orders on Zipserve...?

Full disclaimer, I’m a former active duty enlisted Marine and not well-versed in the logistics of the Navy Reserves! just what I read in the DCO handbook and what I spoke with my recruiter about, but I hope my intention is clear.
