A couple of years ago, I played MGS1 and MGS2 for the first time and I loved them. I come from being a Splinter Cell fan since the first game and tried to ghost both games as much as possible and I have to say I enjoyed my time with them.

Then I went to MGS3 and remember having a tough time with it. Got used to the radar in MGS1 and 2, and I'm paying the price for it. I'm realizing that ghosting this game may not be very viable for a first playthrough.

Are there any tips that you can give me as someone who comes from the style of stealth of Splinter Cell? I know that even though both franchises are based on stealth, they're very different gameplay wise (let alone storywise).
