I’ve only had three ward based placements and I’m about to qualify
I’m a third year, about to qualify soon and I’ve only had 3/8 of my placements on a hospital ward, with the others being in SDEC, a nursing home, a GP surgery, the community and endoscopy. I’m worried I’m behind on knowing the day to day runnings of the ward. Is this a common position to be in? Most people at my university have done more ward based placements than me.
