Had that thought for quite a while but needed a system with hardware port to achieve minimal latency. So, acquired this IBM T23, fixed it a bit, wrote some code, and voila :)
No additional drivers, just simple delphi app. Next step is to mix that and pure algorithmic parts. Or, possibly, some another input devices...
