Can someone help me understand these labs?

My boy, Apollo, just had his first seizure.

We went in to the emergency vet. They took 5 hours just for a blood draw and when they brought the paperwork back all the doctor had to say about it was “there’s some highs and some lows but given he just had a seizure, that’s normal”. And I honestly, would like some more information than just that… they also told me that if he seizes for less than 5 minutes it’s not considered an emergency and they can last up to 15 minutes before it’s fatal(I googled that when I got home and quickly found out that was wrong)

Going to also preface this with I just got out of the military in November and my brother has been taking care of him since I was In… he hasn’t had a primary vet during that time but I plan on getting him one probably this week

Things that are messed up about the lab work: they have his species as feline but He’s a dog….weight is 55 lbs. he’s a golden retriever

Mainly wondering like what are next steps???

Can someone please explain the labs for me? And tell me what’s actually high and low? I feel like their input having him as a feline could definitely mess up the levels of what’s in-range and not

Should I be feeding him anything Different? (We feed him the purina one chicken and rice currently)….

He makes a very big deal about BALL. He friggin loves that thing. It’s his life… even when we’re not playing fetch, he’ll roll around in the dirt with it…could that excitement be the trigger for this seizure? (We were outside and he was with his ball, but I wasn’t playing fetch with him) And if so, does that mean I should take away the ball altogether?

How long does it typically take for an animal to recover from a seizure fully? do they ever fully recover?

What do I do if this happens again? How do I make sure he’s safe if he’s actively seizing?

Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you in advance

My moldy solution

saprophytic mold is non toxic and it will only grow on soil (so it won’t attack your plant or harm you)…it can be caused by pretty much anything. Too much water, too little light, or low soil airflow are the main causes so here’s what I did to fix it:

  1. Scrape the top inch or so of soil off

2.add a cinnamon layer (this prevents new spores)

  1. Poke holes to allow for more airflow

  2. Put it back in its spot to mingle

.

Would you have approached this differently?
