Potential cockroach remains???

I'm in central Texas. Found these body parts on my dog's butt and it definitely looks like a cockroach but the legs look kind of short to me. Thoughts? Anyone able to ID what type of cockroach? I am hoping this came from outside but trying to be cautious.

Rental Cars - Gov't Leisure Rate

Has anyone successfully used US government leisure rental rates for any car rental companies out of state? I have reached out to a couple, but I wanted to see if anyone had good experiences with this since I haven't always had the best luck with using benefits.
