Did anyone from US sign up for the Wako membership? Have you ever actually used your points for anything?

I signed up for it when I bought my SLGH013 at Ginza. Kai, the salesperson who helped me, kind of explained it, but due to the language barrier, I didn't fully understand how it works. I assume you get points for your purchases and can use those points towards other purchases? I received an email today, weeks after my Ginza visit, but the email didn't shed much light on where and how I would use the points. Any info you guys have would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
