Stamp duty of 5.15% in Karnataka?
I am purchasing a villa at Ahad Woods (outskirts of Mysore - my native). The builder is quoting the following.
Property Cost: 1,24,93,300
- Stamp Duty - 5.15% - 6,43,405
- Registration Fee - 2% - 2,49,866
- CESS - 0.5% - 62,467
What feels off is stamp duty. I've seen it across multiple forums and it's 5% not 5.15%. Am I missing something?
