June 25 herniated c6 quite badly. lost feeling to thumb and 2 fingers constant pain down my left arm. Worse is I’m a HGV mechanic, so been battling though work and pain. I’m now 10 months in the pain has gone from my arm around January time. I have took a month of work as having troubles with tingling/numbness down my spine. I have slowly reintroduced PT (light weights) doing back exercises, rear rows etc. For me it been horrible and a mental game but I don’t want to give up. I’m on a waiting list for steroid injection with nhs. Im just starting private physio session next week aswell. I really don’t want surgery. Has anyone tried running with a cervical disc herniation? I desperate to get back out but don’t want to go back to square one again. Has anyone recovered fully after a year with a cervical herniation?
