Hi beading community!

I love seeing all you make here as someone who is just beginning their journey with beading.

I have been developing my craft around bead embroidery but recently have been fixated on the idea of trying a peyote stitch build of a lighter case.

I have tried with my size 11 round chezch beads and my nylon beading thread but can’t seem to get any hold or structure.

I tried to pivot to 10lbs fishing wire but find I can’t feed it through my 10/13 beading needles to use.

I have been looking online for ideas on what materials may be better with little luck.

Any tips would be so appreciated just so I can get off the ground. Also welcome thoughts on if doing a tube peyote or flat peyote may be better/easier?
