Dude in Parkhead with his top off already.

I can't be warm enough for you to have your shirt off already surely?

What is this all about? Why do football fans do it? Does it happen in other sports?

I had an "incident" caused by not eating enough.

Stupidity on my part.

I had planned 2 days of mountain biking with a friend. Three hour drive up on Friday morning, and all I ate was a bag of crisps, a coffee, and slice of millionaire shortbread. Then mountain biked for 3 hours.

That evening had a light dinner and two beers.

The next morning I had a coffee and 2 croissants before heading off for some more biking.

Finished cycling, got back to my car and as soon as I got off the bike I had a massive feeling of dizziness. Weirdly disassociated and a numbness in my arm. Soon passed and started driving home.

Happened a couple more times so I went to A&E. They were brilliant. CT scan, ECG, blood tests etc. All ok.

I asked Google gemeni how best to explain what happened....

"To explain this to someone without getting bogged down in medical jargon, you can describe it as a **"metabolic brownout."**

Here is a simple, three-part way to explain it:

### 1. The "Perfect Storm"

"I've reached my weight loss goal on Wegovy, but the medication combined with a hard bike ride and not enough fuel created a 'perfect storm.' My blood sugar and hydration levels dropped so low that my brain didn't have enough energy to function properly for a moment."

### 2. The "Software Glitch"

"Because of that energy dip, I had a brief neurological 'glitch.' It wasn't a stroke or anything structural—it was more like a computer crashing. I felt intense déjà vu, a bit of numbness in my arm, and a 'dreamy' feeling for a couple of minutes."

### 3. The "Full Reboot"

"I went to the hospital to be safe, and all the physical scans (CT and EKG) were clear. It turns out my brain just needed a total 'factory reset.' I slept for 10 hours, and now that my sugar and fluids are back to normal, the glitches have completely stopped."

So, the moral of the story is YOU NEED TO EAT, even if you don't feel like it.

I think I will stop waygovy now, I'm down to 86kg and I'm able to run again without injuring my knees. But it has been vital for me to get property active again.

But what I have learned, and I'm sure what everyone else was already fully aware of, is you need to force yourself to eat, even if you don't feel like it.
