Hello, I was on an overlanding trip recently, and some of the vehicles had FRS radios, and some had GMRS (myself). According to the frequency charts, both radios should be able to share channels 1-22. We used channel 1. I could hear everyone on the FRS radios crystal clear, but they could not hear my GMRS transmissions at all. Like I wasn't even transmitting. I tried that radio with another GMRS on channel 1 when I got home, and it was indeed transmitting, and I could hear each radio on the other at home. Does anyone have any idea why I would be able to hear the FRS operators, but not the other way around? Thanks!
