Contacted service for FSD error and they want to replace HW4 board.
I didn't have much issue until last week then my FSD just quit showing me to take over immediately with red wheel icon out of no reason. I was looking at the road, didn't give me any nagging. then there is explanation showing "FSD faced an error.
It's a computer so I wasn't too concerned when that happened. but happend again two days later, so sent service message for them to check the log to see if they could identify the cause but it asked me to book a service center visit.
made an appointment and they sent me the estimate like this.
Car is still under warranty so it should be covered even though there is $137.50 charge.
My question is do you think it's something I need for the car? Do they have better revised board?
