Podman running on cockpit (Ubuntu VM)

I’m trying to move my aar stack and vpn into podman away from Win11. I’ve figured out how to get all the arr installed and communicating, but I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to get the vpn set up with gluetun and qbittorrent.

What I seem to be confused with is, I pull an image and create a container for gluetun or qbt. From there how do you edit those containers or setting files to point to gluetun or vpn settings or whatnot? Am I missing an editing program or step?
