I never used to be a morning person. Lotus Flow changed that.

I used to roll my eyes at "this app changed my life" posts. Then I became one of those people. I feel a little weird writing this because I'm usually the person who scrolls past those "life-changing app" posts with a raised eyebrow. But I've been consistently showing up with this app for a few months now and honestly surprised myself, so here we are.

Last winter I was in a really stagnant place. Work piling up, no desire to go outside, that familiar cycle of doing nothing and feeling worse about doing nothing. A friend suggested yoga and I brushed it off with "I can't afford a studio." Then one night at 11pm I was mindlessly scrolling and downloaded Lotus Flow. No real expectations.

Did my first class, it was a 15-minute beginner series. Woke up the next morning feeling noticeably less tense. Opened the app again that day.

The thing that kept me coming back is kind of small but it mattered to me a lot: before you start a class, you can see every single pose and how long you'll hold it. Sounds minor but I used to lose focus halfway through any workout because my brain would spiral into "what's next, is it going to be hard, can I do this." With Lotus Flow I already know what's coming so I can just... be in it. I still haven't been to a studio. Maybe someday if I want to go deeper. But right now I unroll my mat for 20 minutes every morning and for me that's actually huge.

Happy to answer questions if anyone's curious 🙂
