Hey Reddit,

I recently upgraded my monitor cable from a 30Hz to a 60Hz cable to improve the picture quality. However, since the upgrade, my KRK Rokit 5 speakers have been producing a constant, light but disturbing noise. I'm hoping someone can help me identify the issue.

My Setup:

• MacBook Air M4
• Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 Interface (connected to MacBook via USB-C to USB-C cable)
• Samsung monitor (connected via DisplayPort to USB-C cable)
• Two KRK Rokit 5 speakers
• Two Brennstuhl SDL ES 06 DE3516 power strips
• One no-name power strip

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

• Switched the power cables of the devices between the power strips

Additional Information:

• The noise is not present when the monitor is turned off or disconnected.
• The noise is audible from both speakers.

Any suggestions on what I should change in my setup to eliminate the noise? I appreciate any help you can provide!
