I'd like to take my 2 young sons (5 & 3) and maybe the wife camping. But don't want to get all the gear if no on enjoys it. I've got mate that will borrow me a tent to try it a few times see if it's for us. But what are the minimum essentials I need to buy alongside borrowing a tent.

2 kids sleeping bags? Or do most folk take an air bed with a light duvet for 2 kids? Same for myself I'll probably be happy with a sleeping bag but if the Mrs comes would we get a bigger airbed/duvet/cover

Small Gas Stove for coffee/bacon

Cool box

A camping electrical hook up

Some rechargeable lanterns/head torch

A small fold out table

I already have plenty of camp chairs

Also any recommendations for decent camp sites in Cumbria

Any of my UK brothers get there sperm routinely tested? If so what site, how much etc? I know that at home ones aren't very reliable so looking at samples I send off sort of thing.

That 1 in 2000 failed cases doesn't fill me with confidence and if my Mrs is a day late on her period I get really stressed out.

I have 2 kids just don't want anymore lol
