What is the best way to deter ticks from my goats. I have put DE on the ground and used something from Tractor Supply that had cedar oil but still found ticks. They hadn’t attached, but it’s only a matter of time. I am hoping to avoid Permethrin and other harsh chemicals.

Also, how bad can tick borne diseases be in goats? I am getting mixed messages . I’m new to goats. I appreciate your input.
