Do I have any recourse for a misleading credit card offer?

I was a regular Caesar’s reward credit card member. I logged onto the Sportsbook; and a promotion came across saying open a prestige credit card, for a $150 annual fee, and get $200 rewards credits and promoted from gold member to platinum.

I upgraded and spent the necessary $1,000 and paid the $150 annual fee and no bonus awarded. I log onto my credit card app to read any fine print and it says you cannot get a welcome offer for upgrading your card.

Now why would this offer show up in my Sportsbook promotions page if I was already a card holder and wouldn’t be eligible for it?

I feel very misled by this. I called the Caesar’s customer support line to ask them to waive the fee or give me the equivalent rewards points and the lady very rudely said no. I feel like they basically stole $150 from me without any benefit.

Do I have any recourse other than begging them to waive to fee or just boycotting Caesar’s at this point?

Anyone else run into those horrible streaks of bad luck?

I went to a casino today, and I could not win at anything at all. I was never up once at ANY game I went to.

I went to 3 different table games (Ultimate TH, Mississippi Stud, and Craps) and about 12 different slot machines. Everything I went to, I was never above my buy in at any moment and slot bonuses were very rare. Over 5 hours I hit 4 bonuses, one of which was a $5.25 win… the other 3 were $20 or less.

I lost $1,070 in about 5 hours and it made me so frustrated. (I’m a pretty minimal player, betting anywhere from $0.50-$2.25 per spin)
