I'm thinking of buying a moldavite pendant and wanted to know what everyone else's experience is. I did a sub search and I found a couple of positive comments, but wanted to see if anyone out there had a negative experience. Thanks in advance!
Forgive the low quality of the image. It's from an online listing and it's in an auction going for pretty cheap. I'd like to bid on it, but it ends in a little over an hour. (So this request may have expired by the time you've laid your eyes on it.)
It might be worth the risk of buying it anyway, but based on the image you're able to see, would you wager that this is real moldavite? The top crystal is blue apatite (or neon) and the bottom is a chipped herkimer.
FYI: I don't expect to get many clear answers given the low quality of the pic, but not sure if there's enough to glean from it.
