I saw someone else ask a similar question but here’s my story. I’m in Texas, (DFW area). 2022-23 ish my mom was renovating her house. She met this guy, they wrote up a contract. The guy ghosted her and said he had Covid etc. never saw him again. He blocked us completely. She tried to refute with her bank but the bank said she wrote and signed the check of course. What type of lawyer should i contact in this case that could help me
