I lost my passport a couple days ago and I've requested for a new one but it will take time to be processed. In the meantime, I have tickets for a concert in Amsterdam. I'm wondering if I should risk it or just cancel this trip. :(
Does KLM check passports when flying between Germany and the Netherlands? Fyi, I have a non-EU passport. And a permanent residence permit from Germany.
My bag containing my passport was stolen last night. I immediately filed a police report and am now looking at applying for a fresh passport at the Embassy. I need to travel abroad for work in a month and I see on the website that the estimated time of processing passports in this case is six weeks?
Does anyone have experience with a situation like this? How long did it take for you to get a new passport? Is there a way to expedite the process? Any leads would be really helpful. Thanks!
