Where/how do I report a RAD aged care deposit to Centrelink?
Short story: Mum's in care, paid a RAD. I know this is not assessable for pension purposes, but I was told on the phone with Centrelink it should be reported because it affects the means test for care fees.
Problem: Where does this get reported? There's no category for it on the "income and assets" reporting screen. If I put it in as an "other" asset, how will they know that it is a RAD and non-assessable?
The only info I can find online implies that the care provider reports this, not the Centrelink customer.
