I'm planning on taking a walk through downtown pleasanton with my friend to take some photos and draw

Is there anything to do there so we're not just walking around aimlessly (were both 18)? Also is there anywhere I can park my car for a while (preferably for free...)

Also is there anywhere particularly photogenic that you recommend?
