Using alternative miniatures?
Please be patient with me: I'm sure this has been asked before, but a quick search didn't find results. I also subscribe to Tabletop Minions' motto: "every game is miniatures agnostic if you wish it hard enough".
How feasible is it to play BLKOUT with other miniatures? I like the official minis but I'm heavily invested in my existing collection (I own an unhealthy number of minis from all periods and settings, and in particular, my Wargames Atlantic Death Fields collection is in danger of reaching "black hole" levels of critical mass). So I don't want to buy more minis.
I also own some STL of mechs from Electi Studio's Arsenal game, which I think could double as Dusters? (No infantry though, again: Wargames Atlantic!).
So how feasible is it to play BLKOUT with my existing collection? Would I be going too much against the grain?
