Wedding Venue - Midrange budget

I am starting to plan my wedding, super exciting, and we are beginning to look at venues.

We live in ATL and are going to have roughly 100 guests. Our budget is midrange, and we’d like to stay under $10,000 for a venue but would be willing to go higher if it includes F&B. No date set yet, we’re going to let the venue availability decide that but we’d prefer a fall wedding.

For venue style we are are open to anything except a barn lol. I would like to have an outdoor ceremony/indoor reception, but am open to indoor for both.

We’re not set on any part of the state and would love any recommendations on what to look at/what to avoid! TIA!

New phone - Apple Pay not working

Just got the blue card yesterday and added it to my Apple wallet on my previous phone, no issues. Got a new phone today and went to verify the card so it’ll be added back to my phone and it keeps saying contact the issuer. I’ve tried to manually enter it and add through the app. Do I just need to wait until the physical card arrives?

Mom is upset I won’t change my plans to watch my brother

Just need to vent, and get some of my guilt out.

I am planning on going on a last minute trip this week (I’m an airline employee so I can do this easily). I told my mom this out of excitement this morning and when we get off the phone she calls me back 5 minutes later asking me for a favor that “will probably piss me off.” The favor is to fly up to where they live to take care of my little brother (large age gap). The reason why is because he has multiple half days of school this week and one day she has a hair appt she’s been waiting for and then wants to get in to see her doctor about a MINOR issue as well another day. She says my dad can’t watch him because he has work and she says she doesn’t have anyone else to pick my brother up and take care of him while she’s at these appts.

I obviously want to go on my trip while I have time off from work and school, and I know she’s going to guilt me for saying no, so I start to cry a little. She yells at me for crying and hangs up the phone.

The people pleaser in me is feeling so guilty because I want to help out to appease her and my dad, but I’m trying to teach myself to not give in to their guilting and that my brother is not my responsibility even though I love him dearly.

So yeah that’s how my day has started off 🙃 it’s literally 10:00 am
