I have a sweater quantity of this 100% merino wool, but the color is not exactly what I had in mind. This was bought a year ago so no chance of returning it, and I've tried to start so many projects with it but always end up disliking it. I wanted to hear your honest opinion, coming from someone that has zero experience in dyeing yarn: how difficult would it be to dye it a darker shade, more like the second image? Even if it's slightly darker it would already make a huge difference for me. I don't intend to spend too much with materials though.
