Hi all. I have noticed this trend in Surat that if you give your flat on rent they charge more maintenance from you compared to other owners who live there. For example I am paying 1.5x the maintenance every month. It doesn’t make any sense to me that we are being asked to pay more.

Is there any work around or laws against this?

Any help is appreciated.
