Tent advice for family tent (car camping)
I'm looking at buying a tent for family camping trips. It will mostly be me plus my son (currently 8) and my wife may potentially join on some occasions.
From looking online and a trip to Go Outdoors, I think we'll go for a 4 man air/inflatable tent so that we can easily put it up. We've got a large car (Skoda Kodiaq) so the extra bulk of an air tent shouldn't be an issue.
Would value people's opinions on the following two Berghaus tents and any suggestions for other good tents in a similar price bracket (around £300 to £400).

I like the blackout bedrooms on these and am happy to pay extra for this feature Vs cheaper tents that let in more light.
One other thing - are these size of tents going to look overkill when it's just two of us camping for a weekend trip? I've not been camping for ages but when I last went, all the tents I used were the smaller ones that didn't have standing room in them.
