Can anyone recommend a rigorous guitar teacher?

Just as the title says; I'm looking for a a guitar teacher that actually enjoys teaching, subscribes to some sort of pedagogical theory, and feels comfortable pushing their students. I've casually played for decades but I'm severely lacking in theory and proper technique. I don't need a Whiplash situation but I'd really enjoy a rigorous program. I'm also a former teacher and academic that appreciates what a good student/teacher combo can achieve so I'd love someone who comes to the lesson prepared and expects progress from their student.

* I'm not married to a specific genre. I enjoy playing old time, mathrock, ambient, etc so I'm truly all over the place.
