I have a lovely 7 month old chocolate lab boy that I have been working on basics with. Inside the house he is wonderful, he responds immediately to voice and hand commands reliably. He is attentive and interested. In the backyard he is somewhat responsive but definitely way more excitable and takes longer to focus. In the front yard or off property I do not exist. Sit? Never heard of it. Come? Yeah right. Nothing is a higher interest for him than sniffing, no treats interest him once we leave the property hes too interested in everything else going on and any training goes out the window. Looking for advice on building up focus on me in public when right now he doesnt care at all lol
