Low Maintenance Animals
Hi there, I’d like to build a bioactive palladium because I think it would be fun. It’d ideally have a 10-20g aquarium as part of it and be less that a 2x3ft floor footprint but height can vary substantially (3-8ft). I’d plan to make this as autonomous as possible with misters and have it be bioactive.
I love plants and animal husbandry but often leave home for 2-4 weeks at a time…and I historically don’t trust others to care for my animals/plants.
Are there any animals that could withstand a 3-4 week duration without feedings/cleaning (or 2 weeks if I find someone to care for them sparsely)? I’m thinking “no” but maybe someone knows of a colorful worm/dormant lizard species/amphibian etc….truly any animal.
If the answer is “no”, I’m happy to build a palladium for plants-only. I’m just hoping to build a set up around an animal.
