Small band + large cup = nightmare

I’m a 25-year-old woman, 5’2”, 135 lbs, and a 36G. I have a trip to Portugal coming up, and shopping for cute summer clothes has been an absolute nightmare.

Why is every top backless now?? They offer zero support, so if you don’t have tiny boobs, forget it. I usually wear M but I constantly have to size up to L/XL just so my boobs fit, and then the rest of the top looks ridiculous on me. Same thing with bikinis - the only size that fits my chest is an XL, but then it’s way too loose everywhere else.

Hollister’s curvy line has honestly been my saving grace, but I’m still kinda sad because the styles in that collection aren’t nearly as cute as the rest of their stuff. And Zara? Absolutely not. I genuinely don’t know how anyone with even medium-sized boobs fits into their tops.

I just wish more brands understood that having big boobs doesn’t automatically mean you’re plus size. You can be petite/smaller and still have a larger chest.

A couple tops that actually worked amazingly for me though:
- Original Contour Optimum Halter Top from Aritzia
- Whisper Halter Top - Crepette from Aritzia

I bought both in a medium and they fit so well. They’re surprisingly supportive even without a bra. Definitely pricey, but honestly worth it.
