New Low (for me)
Had a great interview last month. I’m well qualified and suited for the role. I had a 1:1 with the hiring manager/supervisor that seemed to go really well. He ended our interview by telling me that he wanted to continue our conversation and have me meet more of the team. That afternoon I send the obligatory thank you for your time, I really think I could do great, looking forward to hearing from you email.
Imagine my surprees when over three weeks have passed and radio silence.
I send a polite email reiterating my interest and asking if there are updates.
In less than 20 minutes I get an email from someone ELSE at the company telling me “he really enjoyed meeting with you but he’s pursuing others.”
So he tells me he wants to keep talking with me and wants me to meet with others on the team… but this is how it ended.
And I had to follow up to get any update or closure.
And this dipshit (the only one I had ever interacted with from this company until now) just pawns off my email to someone else to do his dirty work of rejecting me.
I’m hurt, angry and disgusted. Fuck them all. Hope they fail.
