Hi folks.

I'm after some advice on sizing please. These are my first trail shoes coming from road running. My feet are 26cm long and I currently use 8.5 Puma Velocity's.

I'm torn between sizes 8 and 8.5. I ordered both pairs and will return one of them.

Size 8 feels must more focused in the heel and mid however I can feel the top of the shoe very lightly on my big toe and wonder if this may turn into a problem. The toe gap seems ok?

Size 8.5 is still great around my heel with the heel lock lacing but maybe there's too much space in the toe and they might feel less sensitive on the trail.

The red lines show where edge of my big toe sits.

Any advice please? Do they tend to loosen up a bit? If so, may lean towards the 8's.
