just discovered this thread! heres my babies, all named after fruits, in the order that we got them!
tangy came to us first (coworker needing to rehome a cat), and she needed a friend, so we got fig, and have had both for about a year! and to our surprise, a kitty showed up at our front door literally yesterday, and she is the newest edition, melon! 🧡🖤💚

the oranch baby is Tangerine, we call her tangy, thingy, thangy. the black baby is Fig Bar, we call him fig, mr fig, mr big. they are my babies.
they are so funny and silly and quirky and they have made my life better. they love each other so much and cuddle and play and im so happy to have them 🐈🐈⬛🩷

she got all of her vaccines
no microchip! we will be adopting her, and we have decided to name her Honeydew Melon, nicknames melon, dewdew, miss dewdew, etc etc! it suits her eyes i think : )
no ringworm! seems to just be a scab on her chest from something while she was outside
if she is pregnant, it’s too early to tell. a LOT of you said she looked like a trojan kitty, and her belly does feel big. but she hasn’t gone number 2, and the vet couldn’t feel any kittens, nor are her nipples enlarged. if she’s pregnant, it’s just early.
on that note, she has a spay scheduled in 3 weeks where she will also get her booster shots!
those are they big takeaways. we are also going to be giving them a stool sample to check for worms and parasites.
she weighs 6.7 lbs, and is a lot older than i expected! they estimate her to be between 8 months to a little over a year old based on her teeth. it seems she was likely nutritionally stunted as an outdoor cat and thats why shes so itty bitty : (
she hated the carrier, but was a trooper at the vet. she definitely loves humans. the more people in the room, the happier she was. she flinched when they drew her blood but didnt flinch at all when they vaxxed her! shes so brave! and was purring the whole entire time. shes a happy girl

hi! looking for a little bit of input here…
so i was hosing off some stuff and when i started wiping everything down, she appeared out of nowhere! shes SO friendly, definitely seeking human contact. wanted pets, everything.
i of course gave her some food and water, and here is where i may need some input. so, there is a cat colony out in my neighborhood, and there is a woman who you could call the Cat Mama or something. she has a bunch of houses, beds, litter boxes, food and water out for them, and they flock to her.
i have seen them and they arent friendly like this, they keep to themselves, and they typically hang out a couple of blocks down closer to her house. so i am wondering - could she still be a part of that colony?
i feel like she isnt, but could very well be someone elses. shes quite clean for an outdoor cat, no fleas, etc. just wondering if its still possible for her to part of some colony and maybe shes just friendly since shes a kitten or something, idk.
i will say i tried to lure her into my backyard to kind of be like “hey you will have food and water here if you keep coming back” but she didnt give a crap and kept following me between the front/back yards and ended up hanging out by the door. i went inside thinking she would go on her way and gave it maybe 20 mins and nope, she was still there by the door, and thats when i put her in my bathroom lol!
i do have the means to take her to the vet btw. i have two cats already, so im hoping she has a chip or something and can to return to an owner. if not, she can hang out with us! she is in good hands, and she is just the cutest thing 🩷🖤🧡🤍

she is the best, weirdest, awkward little thing we have had. she was passed around the family and ended up with us and she is here to stay.
i love her so much she is so funny and quirky and will smile with her teefies out or her lip will get stuck and she looks so funny. she makes my day.
we keep saying we should get her a dna test because have no clue what she is and we finally got one, and i shipped it off today! excited to see what this thing is made of, but i love our mutt 🩷

they make my days better. i come home and i am always greeted by them. mr fig meows at me and wants to be pet, and tangy wants to sit on the counter and sniff my hands and it is our routine.
they are silly goobers and they love each other so much and play ALL the time. they are both around 2, we got tangy first kind of by the cat distribution system and we got mr fig so she had a friend! and they are the greatest i love our kitties so much 🩷🐈🐈⬛🩷
this is my girl tangy 🍊 she LOVES the bathroom and will scream at you if you are in there pooping alone without her but the shower curtain and bath mats make her evil
she is usually only affectionate in the kitchen OR the bathroom.. her rules. except the bathroom also makes her evil
