What matters most to you when choosing a main?

I’m totally stuck between the super weilong v2 and Ferrocore v2. I know these are very different cubes, and that’s my problem, there’s aspects of both cubes I favor over the other. This prompted me to wonder what other people care about most when it comes to choosing a main, let me know!

I’ve been on a journey to find the perfect cube for myself. I love the v11 but its magnets are just a little too weak for my liking. However, I do enjoy how “free” the cube feels and how well you can cut corners. I’ve had the super weilong v2 before and I’m going to go back because it has the one thing the v11 is missing for me. What’s your setup?

I just got the new ferrecore v2 and wanted to give it a review! For context, I main the moyu v11 (UV). I’ve tried the gan12, gan16max, and super moyu v2. Out of the box the matte ferrecore v2 feels pretty dry. After a bunch of solves it felt better. The magnets are very strong, day and night compared to the v11. The core allows for secure and fast travel while cutting corners or doing a quick U. Magnet strength is 7/10 for me. Matte feels 6/10 (not really a fan but it’s not bad). It’s a big difference compared to the v11 due to magnet strength and core travel, but it maintains some of the moyu feel. The magnets are very strong, so it’s definitely a very different feel. Overall I’d rate this cube an 8/10 based on my preferences, I intend to swap it for the UV version. Keep in mind this review is done with zero lube or adjustments. After lube, the cube loses some of its blockiness due to magnet strength and becomes very fluid.

I love the feel and fluidity of the v11 a lot. I tried a lot of other cubes like the gan16 super moyu v2, gan 12, and nothing came close to the v11s feel for me. Has anyone made the purchase?
