This is a follow up from my post a few days ago

I want to say a special thank you to the brother who shared the link to the resources page

I went ahead and got transfer paper printed out the decals and based the model with Vallejo diorama fx and painted it to match the city mat I use in my home setup

Thank you all you inspired me to paint more of these guys I’m getting back into 40k and painting this model even though I despise Reivers brought me a lot of joy.

C&C welcome

I bought a pot of Vallejo diorama fx to base some of the models I’ve been painting, first time using the product. In the past I’ve used sand, baking soda, citadel and generic texture paints and I have to say I’m kind of blown away. I’ve heard it compared to commercial acrylic grout and I can see that. It goes on as a paste and dries in a little over a hour the grey pumice one I bought had to be painted but after I painted and dry brushed I’m really happy with the results. I wanted to do urban grey to match the city mat I have set up for home games

Paints I used were abandon black by citadel and dead white from Vallejo’s game air line

Models are a old primaris reaver from a gw start collecting kit

Guard are kitbashed from Victoria miniatures maker cult and station forge stls printed on a eleggo Jupiter se

C&C welcome if I were to do anything different I would have made the bases and painted them separate and pinned the models but I was lazy.

Painted up a reiver trying to test out colors haven’t painted marines in many years c&c welcome. I still have to base him. If anyone knows a good resource for a transfer sheet I’d love a link.
