How do you guys actually track your daily expenses?

How do you guys actually track your daily expenses?

This has been on my mind recently. I’ve always associated consistency with progress, especially when it comes to things like reflection, reading, or personal routines.

But lately, I’ve noticed that even when I stay consistent, the experience itself doesn’t always feel as meaningful as it used to. Not in a negative way just… less present.

So I tried shifting my approach a bit. Instead of focusing on completing a routine, I focused more on making it relevant to what I’m actually dealing with day-to-day.

That alone made a difference. I also experimented with using more structured prompts instead of repeating the same format every time. Mostly just to stay engaged and avoid going on autopilot.

(If context matters, one of the things I tried was Faithmore — https://apps.apple.com/us/app/faithmore/id6759612475 — but that’s not really the point here.)

I’m more interested in this part: Do you think meaning naturally fades with repetition, or does it depend on how you approach it?
