Saint Cirq Lapopie and Tour-de-Faure region for first slow travel solo trip feedback please.

Has anyone been to the Saint Cirq Lapopie, Tour-de-Faure and surrounding villages as a solo traveler, especially female? If so, is the vibe generally safe or anything to be aware of. I would like to go but it will be my first trip and I'm kind of hesitant regarding safety issue. I am a poc.

Feedback on Saint Cirq Lapopie, Tour-de-Faure and surrounding region.

Hello,

Has anyone been to the Saint Cirq Lapopie, Tour-de-Faure and surrounding villages as a solo traveler, especially female? If so, is the vibe generally safe or anything to be aware of. I would like to go but it will be my first trip and I'm kind of hesitant regarding safety issue. I am a poc. What is the best way to get around - is a car necessary if I don't want to do a lot of walking (endurance issues)? Is it better to base in Cahors and take the 40 minutes bus to Tour-de-Faure or better to base in Tour-de-Faure itself?
