!TW FOR MENTIONS OF SUICIDE/SH!

In my time playing Adopt Me, I've had multiple instances of harassment and bullying. And yes, this is Adopt Me specifically, I've never seen such a sheer amount of bullying in one game before. I typically let things like this go, but something that happened to me yesterday was the final straw, so I'd like to share.

I was snooping through my friends profiles, as one does when bored. Someone online wanted a purrowl, so I joined them and offered it. They showed options then declined before I said anything, so I traded back assuming it was an accident. They said they were waiting for it to drop- understandable. I said "I would take an underpay since you're my friend and you want it but alright I suppose" (Or something like that)- as in "I was already planning on this already, if it'd be more comfortable to you and you'd like to give me an underpay instead, you can do that. But it's also okay if you don't want to." And I understand getting words mixed up due to the fact that texts don't have tones- but two of their friends started talking about me. "Block her" (he/him btw), "ew the guilt tripping is crazy". I apologized for wording that poorly and explained what I really meant, but they weren't having it. They started going on and on, making fun of my avatar and mocking me over nothing repeatedly and having only insults to combat my arguments. They also tried calling me poor, upon checking my profile they instead turned around and told me to go outside. Throughout this, I was insulted at least 20 times, and the exact following words were said to me:

"Put salt on it next time" "Hopefully it's white next time" "Die" "Take yourself out of it" (in regards to life)

...which is absolutely insane. I reported them and I'm honestly not too pressed because I do recognize that these are random people I'll never see again, but it genuinely baffles me how all of this happens on Adopt Me regularly. I've been called the f slur on Adopt Me- straight up. I've been told to die three times now. It's disgusting considering that Adopt Me is targeted towards children, and the thought that some young child could be the victim of that is terrifying. In addition to that, bullying and harassment should never be this prevelant in ANY game, but being a kids game makes it even worse.

I've seen so much hostility and classism when it comes to being "poor" or "rich", I've seen countless death threats, many instances of bullying someone over their style, discrimination, misandry, and more. As well as very often getting little to no consequences for their actions, how do we stop people from cyberbullying on Adopt Me? I get that Roblox in general has a problem with this, but again, Adopt Me is just so saturated with it and I don't know how this can be fixed, but I think it really needs to happen. I'm not looking for sympathy or pity by any means, I just very much felt the need to share my experience on the game but thank you for reading and please stay safe.
