Hi everyone,

Given the recent advancements in AI image generation, I am conducting a study for my thesis to see if people can still reliably tell the difference between a real photograph and a completely new image generated by a computer.

Because this community is already highly familiar with AI, your baseline data would be incredibly valuable to my research. The task takes about 10-15 minutes. You will be shown a series of 72 faces and asked to categorize them as Human or AI.

Hi everyone,

I am recruiting participants for my Master's thesis investigating "AI Hyperrealism" and whether humans can accurately distinguish between real photographs and AI-generated faces.

The study takes about 10-15 minutes. You will be shown a series of faces and asked to categorize them as either Human or AI, followed by a few short questionnaires about your familiarity with AI and your general attitudes toward it.

I'm working on my thesis about how we perceive AI-generated faces compared to real human photos, and I need some help categorizing the images for my main experiment.

It’s a quick and fairly fun task: you'll look at a series of faces and just trust your gut to guess if they are real or AI. There are also a few short questions about your general familiarity with AI.

The whole thing takes about 5 to 10 minutes and is 100% anonymous. I'm only looking at the overall aggregate data to find general population trends, so absolutely no personal info is tracked or evaluated.
