I made something for students in trier (read this post !! )

Hey everyone!

We are SOO back! After a bunch of planning and coding I’m finally releasing TrierTongue to the wild today.

Let’s be real, learning a language on an app by yourself gets boring fast. TrierTongue is basically a way to find a language exchange partner right here on campus.

You just hop on, find someone who speaks the language you want to learn (and who wants to learn your language), and you guys can just meet up somewhere on campus to practice. It's a win-win and honestly just a great excuse to meet new people from different backgrounds at our uni.

It’s completely exclusive to Trier, 100% free, and open-source.

Come roast my design or find your new language buddy here: https://www.triertounge.online/

Drop any feedback or bugs on github or on the site. Have a great week guys! 🍻

Just picked up “Wer Wind Sät” by Nele Neuhaus for free near Goblin Station. It looked interesting so I grabbed it.

My German is around A1–A2, so this might be… ambitious. Still, I’m curious how long it’ll take me to finish and how painful it’s going to be.

Has anyone here read it? Is it a good choice for someone at my level, or did I accidentally choose hard mode?

Any tips for getting through German novels ??

Hi! I'm currently living in Trier near the university and looking for a language exchange partner. I can offer Hindi and English (comfortable in both), and I'm looking to improve my German (around A1 level) but I want more real conversation practice.

I'd prefer someone nearby so we can meet for walks, coffee, or casual hangouts and practice in person.

If you're interested, feel free to message me!

Hey! I’m new to Trier and studying at the University of Trier.

I wanted to ask if there’s a gym on campus or any good gyms nearby that are student-friendly and reasonably priced.

I’m mainly looking for something with decent equipment and not too expensive.

Any recommendations would really help, thanks!

Hey guys!

I just moved to Trier near the Uni and I don't really know anyone here yet. I’m just looking to meet some new people and expand my social circle a bit.

If anyone is up for a relaxed walk, grabbing a drink, or just hanging out sometime this week/weekend, hit me up! Looking forward to meeting you. 🙂
