Mission accomplished: 100kph HNR Foxhound build
I finally cracked the 100kph milestone after finding the right road and taking some brave pills to send it!
The chassis is a HNR 9804 Foxhound, with a custom motor mount I designed, Dumborc Rx/tx, cheapie 3674 2650kv (33t) and a XC G2 120a esc and $15 Ali rubber. I added some carbon bracing of Ali too and a $4 Tamiya foam bumper. For tyre shedding I customised some $10 mjx mud guards.
The stock body is quality Lexan and despite some high speed accidents, it only has some roadrash and some paint removed from a ballooning tyre on some dud wheels I tried. I broke one body post in a 30 kph crash into concrete early on, but that was it.
Now it's about shedding rubber and painting new bodies.
