I want to do a day trip to Isla Mujeres. My plans are still open, I just know the day but not sure what time I could get to the ferry. Should I get a timed ticket or an open ticket? Not sure if there are any cons with the open ticket. Edit: also thinking of ordering online ahead of time to avoid standing in line there.

Hi all. Looking to understand the different transportation options in Isla Mujeres and specifics on how to. I see a lot about golf carts, but I want to know more about taking the bus. Do we pay when we enter the bus? Can I pay for the whole family together? I assume I need exact fare or no change will be given?
