What type of clay should I use for making figurines? I want to make pet replica statues/figurines but I’m not sure what kind of clay I should use or what brand to look for.

I have experience sculpting but only with ceramics or cheap air dry clay that always cracks and isn’t very durable. I have also used polymer clay but it doesn’t blend the way I need it to for what I’m making (at least in my experience).

I’m thinking there must be a go to brand for air dry clays?? Maybe I should go the route of making molds with my sculptures for the final product rather than painting and selling the sculpture itself? Idk give me advice
