This was my first plate. It got doused in LC. I threw it out after a point it looked terribly ugly and the agar around this specific seen colony started turning amber. I wish I took pictures but I was disgusted. Im not sure if it was contamination or not I just thought it was. It stayed bright white but grew very hairy. It started growing more colonies after this first one appeared. The growth did not look radial so i ruled it out to be mycelium was i wrong to do so? Do you not have enough info to help me here? TIA !

I feel like there are things I could have done better, but for my first LC Inoculation to transfer. I think im doing alright. I will say I transferred early. I was trying to see if I could isolate colonies before they got together. Please be critical. Thanks y’all!

Although i could have waited. I was afraid of how Tomentose these guys were at first , but im proud how they are turning. I used a SAB.
