My friend is visiting from HK for the first time since she moved out of Sydney in 2021. What are your personal favourite places and restaurants that have popped up (and stayed open!) in the last 5 years? Open to any cuisines and price points including cafes, bakeries and dessert places. We were both big foodies (albeit poor) during our uni years and I'd love to show her what's changed around here!

If you have any recommendations for a specific fine dining or omakase spot also, we would greatly appreciate it!
