You can turn off Youtube shorts

You can now go into your profile settings and set your daily time limit for YouTube Shorts to exactly 0 minutes to all users on iOS and Android.

Once activated, it entirely hides the dedicated Shorts tab and removes the short vertical videos from your home screen feed.

If you try to access a Short, you just get a static message saying the feed is paused for the day.

YouTube has been testing this with parental controls for supervised accounts, but have released it to everyone. This is great cause I hardly used it and their recommendation algo was really bad.

The tradeoff between nuance and recall in LLM-facing content

One thing that keeps standing out to me is that the content most likely to get picked up by LLMs is not always the content that feels most complete to a human expert. A very nuanced explanation can be accurate, careful, and fair, but also harder for a model to compress and reuse cleanly. A simpler explanation is easier to recall, easier to restate, and more likely to survive summarization, but it can also sand off the parts that actually matter. That feels like the core tradeoff.

If you write with too much nuance, the main point can get buried. If you write with too little, the point survives but the meaning gets thinner. So the real skill seems to be making the central idea easy to retrieve while keeping enough precision that the answer does not turn into generic sludge

How often are you actually posting on Instagram for your e-com brand?

Do you publish 3X reels a day to grow your store ? I can’t seem to find enough time to actually handle this amount of workload for my products. Currently, we post high- quality product lifestyle shots about 3 times a week and our engagement is steady but slow, I am not sure if it is because of not doing as frequently as advised.
